Do you know how disastrous it is to be waken up during 2 in the morning and then you cannot tuck yourself under the warm blanket and continue snoring? What the Choc!

Olympiad Math->Hangout->Nursing Exam

This morning me, Fabian, Ling Tchii, Edmund, Jing Yee etc… we went to UiTM (Universiti Teknologi Mara) located at Samarahan to participate in the Olympiad Math! Oh my goodness choc! It’s really a solemn activitiy. All schools in Kuching-Samarahan zone dashed to the same spot to take part in the event of the year *sarcasm applied*. Saw lots and lots of math-aholic!! *including me myself*… but sadly, regretfully, I did not see a CHOCOHOLIC aka MATH-AHOLIC evil, cunning sis - KEREN WEE there!!!! arr!!!

We stepped in the examination hall when the teacher-in-supervision called out our school names! OMG! You can’t really actuallyt believe that SMK Penriseen *doubt that’s a lousy school.. XD… sorry* sent over 30 students there! Wow! And mind I remind you, that’s only for one category! WTF! I reminded Madam Hu to tell Mr. Liew to send more participants next year. XD.

Damn cold! I was shivering throughout the whole exam. The paper was 2 and the 1/2 hours. No more no less. Look at the question! 9 questions only! WTF! 9 questions which requires your brain to twist and turn until XXX degrees. Haha. All the questions involve IQ and some are like pre-u standard questions! WTF! Out of the 9 questions, I think most probably I just merely scored a 3/9. Haha. I smsed to Madam Tan that this is the worst math paper I had ever done in my entire life as a mathaholic. XD

I wore ankle socks today and sat nearby an air conditioner. Guess what occured next? I was trembling with cold, shivering continuously. Aiks! My mind was so scattered than that it was a little impossible for me to concentrate. Plus, no drinks are allowed in the examination hall! Shit larh. XD. Drinking actually do help to ease the tense situation and what the! you don’t allow us to do that? Ish.. XD

After the horrible and disastrous paper, Ling Tchii, who sat in front of me, just like ordinary exam back in KHS, showed me his beautifully-varnished *sarcasm applied* fingers. Oh my! Those poor 10 fingers turned into purple, which I presumed it might be Pauline’s favourite colour tho.. XD… See?! Can you picture how it felt like to be stucked in the hall for 2.5 hours, just doing 9 math questions??!!! Haha. I tried to take a nap but to no avail. Haih.

After the competition, gladly, we hopped onto the bus which have waited us for a loooong time. *Oopsey. Sorry. XD* On our journey back, we laughed and kidded. I will never forget this joke by Puan Lu. It sounded like this "Leon… 如果等你跑完5000meter,天暗咯!!!haha".Why did she mentioned that? Haha. I began it with saying next year, as the f5s aka the big bros and sis of KHS, decided to take part in these events, just to have the sack of fun from it. XD.

But one “natural phenomenon” I observed, our student is soo introvert. He seldom talks and blends with us. Why arr? Tan Yee, explain this to me?? So furious at him liao.

When we reached home (KHS), we met Tan Yee, Eleen, Esther, Daniel etc by concidence at the front gate. At first, I thought the nursing exam was over. Eventually, TY told me that it has been switched back to 2pm. I was confused. Never mind. They are all heading for 7-11 to pick up some merchandise. So, why not we just go right?

TY and Daniel walked first. Then Esther, me and Eleen strolled along together. Emm… nothing romantic there. XD. So the rest like Fabian, Edmund are left behind. Haha. And after a few minutes of walk, we reached 7-11 which is indeed stone throw away from KHS. XD.

The few of them like TY, Esther and Eleen need to grab some bites of their lunch as they have a duty on hand right after the coming nursing exam. XD. TY, Kian Pei, Daniel bought the instant cup noodle. Esther was wondering what to buy, alas! she bought sunflower seeds. I lauded her choice as the seeds are really scrumptious. Me? Bought a tin of iced tea, cause Eleen wanted to drink that mah… haih… so ma buy that loh… And esther also teased me that ‘icetea imported from England’ XD. *Don’t think too much* Accompanied Eleen throughout the hangout. She was undecisive of what to buy.

First, we stopped by at the Coffee section. She was puzzled on which kind of coffee to buy, whether to choose Latte, purchase Mocha or simply just coffee. Alas! She bought the Latte! XD. And then after hunting the 7-11 for quite a while, Eleen finally decided to purchase the sunflower seeds which is different from Esther’s one.

Saw Tan Yee, Kian Pei and Daniel them are soo hungry. XD. Especially Kian Pei! Haha.

Later, when the clock in my wrist watch showed 1.50pm, we then walked back to KHS to sit for our exam. Nah. 18 person sitting for nursing this round nia. Haih. So, such a small class, subsequently everyone will be sitting close to one another and an unseen bond will be automatically formed. And you should know what kind of bond that is right? Though that bond between me and Tan Yee isn’t something bizarro! anymore. XD

The paper though stated sustained for an hour. We are like ultra intelligent RC members. We completed the task at 30 minutes time. Bravo! XD. Mission accomplished and off we headed for home to have a nice and sound rest and ready to hibernate. XD

Serious vs. Craps

Foremost, let’s get serious. No XD for this paragraph first. XD *I cant help myself being a serious-cause-of-emo-people.* XD. Yea! Today I consulted Lu Ee during the prefects briefing. I related to her that I have made the decision to withdraw from the PA system team. Ling Tchii and Edmund, sorry ya! But I have too many things going on recently and I was compelled to drop something which I did not put it as a priority. Oops! Sorry! Sincere apology from my deep heart. XD.

Hope you guys understand, my result is plunging or more precise and accurate, nosediving!!! Ahh!! Just take a glimpse at my Chemistry, the percentage of drop in marks is such a big gap! Aiks! Hence, I had to spruce up the mess after the reprimanding & pathethic scene. Haihs.

Craps!! Yea! My favourite topic! Thanks to my evil evil Keren da Chocoholic! She has taught me the importance of craps! Haha!

Face to Face... Heart to Heart

These days, especially after the prefect interview, the few of us, like me, Jack, Eleen, Shirley, Ling Tchii etc. begin to surround ourselves with topics like which clubs to opt for. For instance, I could see that everyday Jack was being surrounded by matter aroused like whether to choose RC or prefects.

No doubt this is kinda the normal life of a F4 student, especially the groups of braniacs smart, intelligent and responsible students *self praise is no compliment… XD* like us who are extremely active in all clubs come to face a typical similar problem - to choose the club that we are really devoted to. XD

I spotted that these few days TY is a bit down and furious over this matter. In SMS, he kinda like lost his ownself and his mood. Judging by the personal message posted up in the MSN, he seemed quite unsure which one to go for, RC or Prefect…

Shirley was confused too when she was sorta compelled to make a choice between RC and Prefect.'

Me too! You might say that I ain’t an active RC member nor a Chinese Language Society member, but, don’t you scatter your brain and forget that I am an absolutely, exactly and precisely a total Koperasi and Financial Club fanatic! Yes! Your eardrum receive the correct sound waves, and so as your retina did not focus on the wrong stimuli! XD.

You know, when I first stepped into the secondary world, I still can visualised what happened 4 years ago, our current secretary, Agnes, have tried so hard to drag me into the koperasi! And kinda like without second thought, I participated the koperasi and from that day onwards, I feel like I am really one of the KOPERASI! Since secondary school, this is my first club and I told myself that, I must pay my full attention and give the highest commitment to this koperasi and make it a better one, and probably the best in Kuching! XD

Since Form 1, I participated in all the activities. Time advances and now it is 2008 - my 4th year in KHS - the year when we receive posts handed over by our seniors. I strived so hard, being through ups and downs and I am on the right track to realise my dream. Why should I give it up right?

Guess I was being foolish at times. Frankly speaking, I thought of being the chief for magazine, prefect and blah blah blah. But those are just plain hallucination! Why must I go for so many thing and divert myself into million of pieces while I can be a whole one when I concentrate on my Koperasi and Financial Club? XD. Honestly, not trying to boast myself, but I believe that what I had done all these years had brought some changes to koperasi.

Way back in 2006, I organised a survey on students’ necessity and little does it help, our sales went up and also while in the afternoon session, I established a proper system of managing the afternoon koperasi. I started a mini committee, ranging from leader, assitant leader, stock manager to member’s affairs. Flashing back, I was both the leader and stock manager. Zhann my zhannest assistant. Cindy the cutest and wackiest member’s affair in-charge leader. XD. Guess that system is still maintained until today. Well, this is what I have done to break off the improper system of the past. XD

Last year, it was PMR year so I was not able to contribute much but the spirit never wears off. Joined financial club then but still an inactive member. Things changes as time elapse. This year, I combined both koperasi and financial club to organise a camp which has vanished into thin air since 2005. What a sad news! At least with a camp, it proves that our koperasi has being improving and our financial club has also stepped out from the “inactive club” title.

Got what I mean already? Yea! If I am not committed, why would I spare so much of a time, planning market surveying, reorganising the koperasi running system and also working so diligently to run a flawless camp right? XD. And right now I have some brillant plans in my mind such as “Koperasi 9th Birthday - Shop and Win Contest” and lots more.

TY taught me a very right thing - make your own decision of life. If you think it is right, just go on as it is your dream! Serious, this is a very true statement that no philosophers in this universe should deny. As for me, one of the main philosophy of life is be yourself. You are the author of your life, you narrate your life and you are also the painter of your life. You are a creative artist who paint a drawing which lasts for eternity. So, you decides who you are in your precious life, and not letting other decide for you. Citing TY’s newly-discovered quote, if you think you make the right choice… just go on with it! XD

It’s being a truly heart-to-hear conversation with my buddies these days. We’re nearly on our way to make our final decision - what to take and what to give up! After all, life is definetly lots about giving and receiving. Citing a famous saying “when you get something, at the meantime, you lost something!”.

TY sorta like make his choice to chase after his dream in RC. What about me? Will my destiny in my once-in-a-lifetime-secondary-life lies in koperasi and finacial club, or doess the Creator wants me to unfold my journey of life in other where like prefectorial board? Who knows the answer.

But I’ve got an answer here. As time elapses, the mystery will be solved and dot. XD

Puppies for Sale

A store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read “Puppies for Sale.” Signs like that have a way of attracting small children, and sure enough a little boy appeared under the store owner’s sign. “How much are you going to sell the puppies for?” the little boy asked. The store owner replied, “anywhere from $30 to $50.” The little boy reached into his pocket and pulled out some change. “I have $2.37″ he said. “May I please look at them?” The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.

One puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said, “What’s wrong with that little dog?” The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered that it didn’t have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame. The little boy became excited. “That is the puppy I want to buy.” The store owner said, “No, you don’t want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I’ll just give him to you.”

The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner’s eyes, pointing his finger, and said, “I don’t want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I’ll pay full price. In fact, I’ll give you $2.37 now and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for.”

The store owner countered, “You really don’t want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies.” To his surprise, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the store owner and softly replied, “Well, I don’t run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands.”

In life, we really should learn to understand and respect one another, disregarding their backgrounds. Try tolerating among human beings and even with God’s creation, for tolerance is the key to unlock the door of harmony. A “I LOVE YOU” a day creates a bond between all of us and also guranteens a better tomorrow as it brightens one's day. XD
