Finance Club Gathering

I know I was absolutely procrastinating. The Finance Club Gathering was back in August and I only update them now. So sorry. And my blog was so still and dead. Every day I thought of accessing the Internet and update my blog but to no avail. Thanks to my trial exam. No choice. Study. Study. Study. Study. Blah =p. Sick of it.

Yup. Everyone all time's favourites - Pizza XD

The famous pepperoni pizza! Yummy! I L.O.V.E. this one =)

Whenever there is a new techno stuff, there is Pauline! Haha

Oh well, finally a year of hard work and diligent effort for the school Finance Club pay off! And since I handed my post over to Yen Ru officially during the club AGM, my sweet time of being the club's president and my journey in the school co-curricular draws to an epilogue.

Co-curricular taught me the three stages of life:

1. Initially, when you first join a club, you would be lifted with high spirit, high hope and you are absolutely committed. It is also at this stage you make more friends and increase your boundary in life.

2. This stage you begin your struggles. You feel so stressed out by your work besides academic pressure. We all crave being a all-rounder but sometime God creates us with certain limit. Pushing to the limit causes you to show apathy towards your club. It is always true that after you reach the peak of anything, you would either plateau off or slide down. It's proven true. =)

3. The stage of waving goodbye. At the end of the day, despite all those hardships you have ventured through throughout your 5 years, you will have a feeling of unwilling to let go. Either the sweet or the hurting memories has being craved in your heart core forever. When you flashback, you would feel so touched and proud of what you have done! Trust me. That's true.
Also, you have come to this stage of your life, it's because you got...

... A GROUP OF UNFAILING FRIENDS AND TEACHERS ...

PROVIDING YOU WITH SHELTER, LOVE, CARE AND GUIDANCE.

Teachers - for being considerate, loving, caring and guiding us throughout these years

Friends - who have being truly stand by your side and bring you through everything!

Seriously, at the epilogue of my co curricular life, I would allow tears of being touched and loved fall, as much as it wish. The tear is the silhouette a fond memory of my school life! And I am seriously enjoying my secondary life.

I.L.O.V.E.Y.O.U.G.U.Y.S.

Till then and may our path cross again!

Friends Forever =)

The Tapping on an Island

Heh guys! I am so sorry for dumping this blog vacant for so long. Hehe. I bounded off for Kuala Lumpur last Friday and guess what? In a bustling city like KL, I can't even locate an Internet access - I mean complimentary one.. of course =)... So yesterday I've traversed myself to the island of all prosperity located in SE Asia - SINGAPORE!!! Fabulous! The discount offered here are way awesome and I just way can't stop myself buzzling around like an irksome fly to persuade and convince my parents to purchase all the goodies I desire as my Xmas present.

Finally I got to use the complimentary internet access in the Espirit located in City Hall. The shop's closing soon as it's Xmas Eve. Shops end their business today at 8pm! Cool! Thank God that Espirit is extending its shopping hours for shopaholic like me XD. And too good to be true that I joined the Espirit Club last year so that I am entitled to access to the Internet. XD
Less craps this time!

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!

Enjoy your holidays XD

Few Days Left and What to Do?

First I’d like to make that clear that ‘Few Days Left’ as stated in my title of the post does not indicate those superstitious thing you have in mind. It simply signifies the number of holidays left as every morning I wake up, switch on my lappy and see the countdown gadget thinging thing on my desktop, it kinda reminds me how humongous my expenditure on time is. Everyday I set myself free, roaming around the net, playing online games, chatting on the phone, watching TV, hanging out with friends and family etc.

Or in simpler English - nothing productive and useful came out!!!

*I am so gonna be pissed off* XD

Yea. I still have actually so many works & assignments which are chasing after me everyday. Look! I’m listing them now =)

1. Biology Assignment - We all have gathered sufficient information but then filtering them and putting them into the Power Point form is kinda like time consuming. Although it wouldn’t be a setback for me, the laziness within kills off everything. XD

2. English Literature Study - What the Choc! I felt asleep eventually every time I tried to read The Pearl patiently. I only read 2-3 chapters so which means I still have 3 more chapters remaining to read and summarise the whole chapter in not more than 50 words! The teachers are insane and somehow the neurones in the grey cells must have cross over and something unexpected occur that make them a little wacko. =p

3. Additional Math Christmas Special - Yea. Ms. Poh’s holiday gift dedicated to us. Gosh. It’s all about Progression, Differentiation, Integration, Linear Law, Linear Programming, Trigonometry… At least one good thing comes out - I love Additional Math and we do not need to hand in this assignment! Woo! The Best Christmas Academic Present! =)

4. Packing for Friday’s Vacation - Argh. I haven’t packed my luggage yet. Sigh. And I still have lots of shopping undone yet. =P.

5. Tidy up my study hall - Gosh! I knew I tidied it up once in October and another time n November. But those stacks of paper works just grew into the height of a hill. Sigh. It’s gonna be winter cleaning again. Bless me.

6. I dunno. It seems somehow lots of thing are not done yet =)

Tata for now.

Oh. Biology assignment is creeping towards the end. Few more clicks and slides and I shall bellow “Mission Accomplish!” XD.

Happy Holiday & Merry Christmas!

Sarawak Club Samarahan Branch

My parents were absolutely free today, I guess, that's why they decided to drive me all the way from my house to the recently opened Sarawak Club located at Samarahan. Whoo! Imagine how far is that from my house situated in Richmond Hill? XD. Nah. I just enjoyed the view along the journey which reminisced me about how frequent I travelled those countryside road this year.

A bit away from topic, but here's how frequent I am on the countryside road this year:

1. EAK competition at SM Matang Teknik (2 times)

2. EAK competition at SMK Sungai Merah, Sibu which I traversed there on road (once)

3. Civic Educational Trip to Cultural Village (once)

4. Ohana Camp (once)

5. Olympia Math Competition at UiTM Samarahan Division (once)

6. Visit to Swak Club Samarahan (once)

so if you sum up everything and give it a times two, picture that a city student would go to those places so often? XD.

Anyway, pictures are simpler than words. So i took a few snapshots with my brand new phone camera... 3.2 Megapixel, so some of it was kinda blur and I tried to savage it through Photoshop but it wont aid so much after all. Hehe. Enjoy the pic =)

Welcome to the... Main Entrance of Sarawak Club XD

The Golf Course. I guess some parts of it is still under construction =p

The Adult Swimming Pool... I am just curious why the other side is not covered with tiles??

Ya. Sarawak Club first spa.. It was actually quite small XD

I love this water feature located at the main entrance XD

The Terrace - a place for you to have your light fares.. similar to the Main Hall actually XD

Cream of Mushroom Soup

It doesn't taste as scrumptious as expected. The texture was coarse. Well, I just thought that it's only a simple fare, so care not much =p

Yea. My humongous appetite. I took the Green Salad too XD

Another eye-soothing water feature. Haha

Heh. This water feature was nice but kinda makes me ponder about a scene inside a Muslim Building situated next to Swinburne Swak Campus =p.. only it's tinier...

Yea. Last snapshot before returning. You got it. Just another water feature. Haha

Hmm... let me ponder, so this new Sarawak Club has still lots of room for improvement. If you wish me to comment, I guess I'll post up a lot of good and bad one simultaneously. But I just wanna save my time this time. If you wanna know more, why not just go see it yourself? *if you stay in Kuching* XD.

Twilight

Yea. I finally got to be hauled out from the prison of doing assignments and studying and freak out to seek some fun. XD. So after searching and analysing, we finally made up our mind to watch Twilight. It was supposed to be scheduled last week but many things were not confirmed yet, so we are compelled to push it back to today. XD

We invited tonnes but many cant turn up as most of them are caught up in the Christmas Bazaar sales located in Crowne Square. Too bad we miss the fun of hanging out with them or is it too bad they miss the fun of watching this fantastic film? XD.

The movie I gave it 7/10. Majorly due to the girl who protray the role of Bella Swan. Karen, Felicia and I think that she's a little unnatural and when she spoke or conversed, the tone was quite tense and created an uneasy and unnatural feel. XD. The climax part wasn't nice enough or exciting enough. The battle was short. And if you do read the original book by Stephenie Meyer, you'd realised that the director jumbled up lots of things and canceled out many scenes. For example, Bella's mum was supposed to email her.. not talked to her on the phone and Edward's supposed to expose his muscular body in the Italian restaurant in Port Angeles, instead it was switched to the hilltop. XD.

Twilight the Movie

It's really a fascinating movie with heart-capturing story lines. A movie that involves vampires, romance and youths, a perfect and splendid movie for anyone who wish to spend the remaining days of your holidays. XD.

Enjoy Twilight-ing =)

Holiday Recap

Hmm.. What did I do throughout this entire week of holiday? Guess I really need to tickle my grey cells to recap what have I done this mid-term break. XD.

I kicked start off last weekend with the boring, hell-like driving law lecture which killed my 5 sweet hours for sleeping, snoring, chit-chatting and hanging out time. T.T. Then, because I was so moodless the go out after the lecture, I miss a chance to hangout with my long lost (exaggeration applied here.. XD) sis - KEREN WEE da CHOCOHOLIC!!! She promised to purchase nice stuff to let me consume if and only if I went to Kuching Fes. Nope! I was a defiant bro! I went against her and so, I did not earn my food. Sigh.

Sunday, well, as usual lah, FIRST tuition of the holiday - BM! Choc! The teacher knows we are all in holiday mood so we spent most of our time taking turns to read the drama. Phew. Thank goodness it was not as boring like what I had in mind =). Hmm.. yea.. at night dad, mum and I went to Uncle Hing's house to have a party! The food my uncle cooked was fantastic! We had Teochew style steamed Talipia, Fried Noodles, Mix Vegetables, Deep Fried Crabs with Salted Eggs (yea! my grandpa's and sis, as in Evelyn's fav dish.. XD) and lots more. I suddenly felt so hungry and droplets of saliva were rushing down my mouth. XD.

Monday, though it was whole day of continuous tuition. It was kind of fun. Why? I spent the gloomy Monday Blue morning and recharged Monday afternoon at my favourite subject - ADDITIONAL MATH, and best of all, with my buddies!! XD. That day, me, Amanda, Marilyn and Shay Hwa spent our lunch break which was about 3 hours, roaming in Crown Square & Hock Lee Complex! XD. The food was so disastrous. I was so lazy to take snap shots of what junk we ate. If I post them out here, I can assure you you'll lose your appetite in a split moment. Trust me =).

Tuesday, dad brought me and grandpa to his favourite kopitiam at the Xia Huang Street at the old town of Kuching. XD. Yea! The noodles, soups really aided me to recapture my younger days when I usually went there to have breakfast with my sis and grandma when school breaked off. Well, beginning of this year, my free Saturday morning and also holidays were very much occupied by tuitions and school cocurricular activities which made me quite sick now. Well, what to do? XD

Wednesday, Add Math tuition but only during morning only. Thursday's life was usual except towards the evening. At 6.30 pm, I brought along the potato salad which I had prepared in the afternoon to Yun Hui's house. First, we had the Kuching High Red Crescent Camp meeting. Many ex-leaders were present, including HOWE! Speaking of Howe, a miracle just occured, HOWE finally got himself a Friendster account! Yea Jacquelyn, our dream really come true =) Jacq, remember the time when we guessed when will Howe create himself a Friendster account? Haha. That was our hot topic last holiday, at least for a few days. XD

After meeting, the night is still young. We celebrated Yun Hui's last day on Earth as a 15-year-old boy. XD. TY made the finest slide show and the food Yun Hui's mum prepared were scrumptious. BDW, I got thumbs-up for my potato salad. Whee!!! XD. *Excuse me for my vanity.. XD*

Friday, hmm.. not much.. was so exhausted doing Koperasi dinner stuff. Keep finger crossed everything will run well on that day, i.e. the National Day of Malaysia =). Special much, our Koperasi dinner. XD.

Saturday, early in the morning I threw myself out of my bed. Why? The graveyard of my long departed, loveable grandma was ready. So, according to Chinese tradition, we need to prepare feast for my grandma in collaboration to celebrate her to move into her new house. I was so emotional that tear drops again! 阿嫲!你知道我几想你吗?我好后悔那天来不及同你讲最后一次的“我爱你!”,因为我总以为你会长命百岁!(read this in Cantonese. XD) So, I was so gloomy for the rest of the day until last night when I attended Yun Hui's birthday function.

Thanks to Dawson, Daniel, Eleen, Tan Yee, Kian Pei, Kelly, Sze Tieng, Shirley, Tchii, Edmund and lots more. Thank you so much friends from dragging me out of loneliness and I feel so great after the function. XD. BDW, Happy Belated Sweet Fabulous 16th Birthday, Yun Hui! =) Ma! Now it's my turn to demand present from you cause you owe me prexie liao.. I have finally bought you present but you haven't bought mine yet =)

Today, special thing is, I remember to blog my entire holiday life in my blog here. Keeping my finger cross that I will excel in all my papers that I have sat for. Tomorrow onwards will be my judgement day. Pray hard for me! Thanks =)

STAY BLUE FOR TOMORROW,

STAY BLUE FOR SCHOOL REOPEN,

STAY CALM FOR TOMORROW,

STAY CALM FOR TEST PAPERS.

sigh. XD.

just a mere helpful adivce for myself. wont last long tho.
