2009 Has Nine Important Events!

The year is drawing to an end in less than 4 hours. This year I was lazy to summarise all happenings month by month. Instead, I'll list down 9 major events that occurred throughout the whole year which makes me hard to forget.

Event #1: Leon completes his SPM and secondary school!

Yes! I am officially done with SPM and my secondary school! I have gone through harsh times with SPM especially I encountered so many problems. First, I only started my revision only in August and SPM was due in November! I was seriously freakishly afraid of my SPM. When the trial exam was around the corner then, I totally flunked in it. I just hope my SPM result which will be released in March is as fabulous as my PMR result. Keep my finger cross! XD.

One thing I'm glad upon completion of SPM is that I never had to face History, Malay Language, Moral and Civics anymore in my life. Perhaps I'll come across them one day in my life but I am no longer compelled to study it and sit for examination for those subjects! Cheers!

Secondary school life meant a lot to me. Frankly, compared it to my primary school memories, secondary life taught me a lot. From the freedom I gained, I gathered my courage to venture and explore the society and the world. My school teachers and my school life taught me many things which are definitely a good help in my future! Sitting now and reflecting upon what had occurred throughout these 5 years and the efforts, it was truly memories worth treasuring. Of friends, hangouts and lots more. They are awesome! Simply FABULOUS!

Finally, Leon is now an official EX-HIGHIANS! Cheers!

Event #2: Down Memory Lane - Kuching High's Major Event of the Year

Due to the fire that razed our school last year, the school was coming out with all sorts of activities to raise fund. Down Memory Lane was seriously one major event in which no Highians could ever forget! Yea. Seriously. I hate to say this but Olympiad Maths Quiz really spoiled the day. The Maths Quiz clashes with our Down Memory Lane! Gosh! I really wanted to experience the whole event from 8 in the morning till 5 in the evening!

And did I tell you that, I even took pictures with some local artists for FREE! See! People usually need to buy tickets of admission into concerts and by fat chance you can take snapshots with them! And I took snapshots with some local artists for FREE and easily! Fortunate me!

Event #3: Leon gets his first iPhone!

Thanks Dad and Mum! I got my first iPhone! I had cool and fun time with the phone and busy like hives of bees exploring the versatile phone. Cool! I am freakishly and irrevocably in love with iPhone. Haha. A deep and sincere gratitude to my parents, for realising dreams of all teenagers. Thank you God for blessing me!

Event #4: Sadly, Leon loses his maternal grandma!

In January, I lost my maternal grandma. She left us after battling with Parkinson diseases and cancers for merely 5 years. I guess her departure was a good thing. At least she could rest in peace instead of battling every second of life with those irksome and cruel diseases. Although I did not spend as adequate time as I spent with my late paternal grandma, I did what I should do as a grandson. I love her too as my grandma and I shall miss her.

婆婆,安息吧!

Event #5: Leon has his driving license!

Finally the anticipated thing of a teenager - DRIVING LICENSE! Yup! I had got my driving license sometime in mid-June. After months of lessons and trainings, one kick, I passed my driving! I scattered my mind and forgot who were my passengers already. Nevertheless, I remembered one thing for sure, my best friend, Tan Yee is surely my first passanger! Congratulations too Tan Yee for getting your P license! XD! Cheers for both of us!

Event #6: Leon steps down from Koperasi!

Unexpected, I accepted my retirement from Koperasi with pleasure. I felt bad at first though after 5 years of services in Koperasi. It had really become part of my life and one of the reasons why I anticipated for school to reopen. Life in Koperasi was promised with great chill and fun especially when you got a bunch of great buddies with their unfailing support, namely Bong Sing Xian, Cindy Tan, Daniel Sim, Edmund Lau and Pauline Ho! Oh people! I love you guys!

By the way, we still have one thing left with Koperasi - OUR SALARY!! XD

Event #7: Leon's family China vacation during Chinese New Year!

As mentioned in my last post of 2008, my dearest paternal grandma leave us without a word. According to our Chinese custom, we were prohibited from celebrating CNY as a form of respect to our ancestor. Hence, our family (including dearest Grandpa, uncles and aunties and cousin) went for an one-week vacation to China! We visited Shanghai, ShuZhou, NanJing, HangZhou and lots more fascinating places. It was indeed a rare opportunity for us to gather together and go for a holiday together! Oh. Such a fond memory!

Lessons learnt: Family is always our priority. XD

Event #8: Leon travels too frequent this year!

I was always missing in action especially during school holidays as my family had to try to fulfill our Temporary Resident (TR) requirement. We were always on the air flying to and fro from Kuching to Singapore and then to Perth. In Perth, I managed to meet up with Jerry and it was a pleasure meeting Jerry and his family! Aww. And I simply could not forget Aunty Rose for throwing a surprise BBQ party for us too! Thank you so much! As for Mark and Kavan, I am so sorry that I didn't know you guys were at Perth too! Anyway, I'll see you 2 too next year! And Tyler too! I am gonna see you in person too next year! Can't wait to uncover my new life next year in Perth! Full of anticipation and hopes!

Event #9: Leon treasures all his friends forever and ever!

I love you guys! Thanks for all the memories! I think by just summarising all the memories we had together in just few sentences is merely injustice! Hence, my blog content labelled 'Friends' are always there for you guys! I love you all and we MUST keep in touch forever!

I shed my tears the moment we left school but little do I believe that our path will cross again! I have faith in our friendship and I shall clench onto it despite we had little dispute and misunderstandings throughout. The true and genuine friendship is the one that does not crash or break despite odds and setbacks!

To all my teachers who have educated me, I love you guys too! An ocean of thanks for educating me and for bringing me through challenges in life. Thank you so much! Again, the mere few sentences are just inadequate but a sincere gratitude with a life-long term is the only thing I could expressed for you all!

Two thousand and nine, 2009 - had been a challenging and wonderful year for everyone, especially economic crisis crashes the whole world. Nevertheless, we all held our hands together and ventured through all setbacks together and together we walked towards the very end, that is today - 31 December 2009!

No winter lasts forever, no spring skips its turns - life is never smooth or harsh at all time. The blends and mixtures of all sorts of things nurture and mould us to be a better person. I thank the year for being another great teacher, offering me lots of valuable lessons I need to treasure in life and carry them with me as I valorously accept the forthcoming challenges in the coming year.

Again, I closed this year epilogue with the same words and phrases:

GOODBYE 2009, WELCOME 2010!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!

Masquerade

Come to think about it, life is all about being ourselves. Human beings have up to a zillion types of combination and variation - even Mathematics could not calculate how many types of people are there in the world [using permutation and combination]

And plus I blasted Ashley's second single from her new studio album 'Guilty Pleasure' - Masquerade, I have made up my mind to put aside my books to scribble my thoughts at my blog.

Since we all have our own style and characters, what is the point for us to masquerade our own true self so that we could blend into others world? What's the point? I got neither. We should not masquerade our own creditable good points and also our shameful weakness. After all, learning from mistakes is part and parcel of growing up.

Plus, we should not masquerade other people's strengths and weaknesses too. It's hard to achieve this since we love to masquerade other people's strengths and expose publicly their weaknesses. After all - we are HUMANS of the 21st century. Who could alter and rectify this weakness? God knows.

Masquerading our weakness is also our weak point. We try to hide our untalented and shameful side to impress others.

That is human's complexity.

You could help change this human's weakness? Think about it. Perhaps if the future generation comes along with no 'masquerade' in their vocabulary, this world could have being a more peaceful and harmonious place for everyone.

By the way, 'It's Alright It's Ok', 'Masquerade' and 'What If' are terrific and awesome songs from Ashley's latest album. Download them if you love.

Oh well, just random and there is a gush of adrenaline to update my blog for today. That's all.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Finance Club Gathering

I know I was absolutely procrastinating. The Finance Club Gathering was back in August and I only update them now. So sorry. And my blog was so still and dead. Every day I thought of accessing the Internet and update my blog but to no avail. Thanks to my trial exam. No choice. Study. Study. Study. Study. Blah =p. Sick of it.

Yup. Everyone all time's favourites - Pizza XD

The famous pepperoni pizza! Yummy! I L.O.V.E. this one =)

Whenever there is a new techno stuff, there is Pauline! Haha

Oh well, finally a year of hard work and diligent effort for the school Finance Club pay off! And since I handed my post over to Yen Ru officially during the club AGM, my sweet time of being the club's president and my journey in the school co-curricular draws to an epilogue.

Co-curricular taught me the three stages of life:

1. Initially, when you first join a club, you would be lifted with high spirit, high hope and you are absolutely committed. It is also at this stage you make more friends and increase your boundary in life.

2. This stage you begin your struggles. You feel so stressed out by your work besides academic pressure. We all crave being a all-rounder but sometime God creates us with certain limit. Pushing to the limit causes you to show apathy towards your club. It is always true that after you reach the peak of anything, you would either plateau off or slide down. It's proven true. =)

3. The stage of waving goodbye. At the end of the day, despite all those hardships you have ventured through throughout your 5 years, you will have a feeling of unwilling to let go. Either the sweet or the hurting memories has being craved in your heart core forever. When you flashback, you would feel so touched and proud of what you have done! Trust me. That's true.
Also, you have come to this stage of your life, it's because you got...

... A GROUP OF UNFAILING FRIENDS AND TEACHERS ...

PROVIDING YOU WITH SHELTER, LOVE, CARE AND GUIDANCE.

Teachers - for being considerate, loving, caring and guiding us throughout these years

Friends - who have being truly stand by your side and bring you through everything!

Seriously, at the epilogue of my co curricular life, I would allow tears of being touched and loved fall, as much as it wish. The tear is the silhouette a fond memory of my school life! And I am seriously enjoying my secondary life.

I.L.O.V.E.Y.O.U.G.U.Y.S.

Till then and may our path cross again!

Friends Forever =)

1.. 2.. 3.. and to INFINITY

Yea. Life's being so busy until my blog got neglected without ample updates for almost 2 weeks! I know I am becoming lazy but sometimes I guess I've so much to catch up especially it is 2nd semester now. OMG! It means SPM is approaching sooner than ever!

Ok. So last Saturday our koperasi went to attend the award ceremony by SKM. Full of hopes we went there and seriously I instantly felt helpless and hopeless when we were announced to be the 2nd runner up only! WTF! When we finally cooled off and discussed, we realised that our koperasi's profit plunged too much.. Thanks to the stupid former principal with his total foolishness - taking away the sales of school magazine, diary and bulletins away from us! SHIT!! He's so irksome in many ways!

Oh ya! I drove Zhann, Cindy and Pauline home. They camwhore a lot in my car and Zhann even took pictures of me! How interesting!

Here's the picture Zhann took and Pauline also experimented around with my iPhone...

Cindy, Pauline & Zhann

My unfailing friends & partners in Koperasi! I LOVE U GUYS!

IMG_0189

Yup! Pauline showing off her prowess of camwhoring using my iPhone!

Draw to a conclusion = Pauline is 100% qualified to use an iPhone dy! *Invoking what Pauline mentioned the other day XD*

There are more pictures in my Facebook account and so as in Zhann's blog. XD. FYI, Zhann credited me a 89/100 for my driving when I first drove her and Roland to tHe Spring on the same week! Whee!! Too bad Kenny marked me a 2/10 only! WTF! LOL

KIM CHERN!!

I'm trying to find time to drive you out! I know you are buzzing around and anticipating to be in my car! Yea I know!
Keep waiting =) Thank u!!

Daw's birthday, 10 July (Oops. sequence mixed up but priority not mixed up.. Koperasi comes first XD). We bought him a wallet and guessed what? Daw's using it now! Whee! Too bad I din get a snapshot of his prexie. XD. Glad that Daw loves it.

Next, sister's heading back to Perth today. Aww. I missed a chatting partner again! I remembered when she was here, alright we are seriously talk-a-holic. We chatted from 11pm until 2am in the morning! Freaking much? XD.

What else is in my list? I am tapping my fingers whenever I tried to ponder what had occurred for the past few weeks. XD.

Ok. My health was ailing for the past few days. First come sore throat. Followed by flu and charting the list is cough. Thank God it wasn't A(H1N1)! Phew~

Fine.. come to resolution for the 2nd semester:

-Less time on iPod
-Less time on iPhone (I got addicted to the games)
-Less time on Facebook (compelling myself to wave goodbye to those heart-capturing & addictive games)
-More time on my books

Ok. I'm trying to do more Mathematics this month! And finish my Form 4 Biology Chapter 2 - 6 by end of next week + Form 4 History Chapter 1 - 5 by end of next week! Keep fingers cross I'm disciplined enough to follow my resoultion =)

Next, stupid Malaysia Government! They reverted teaching Math and Science back to Malay Language! WTF! They are totally like ostrich trying to bury their head under the sand when setbacks tackle! Yea. Just because the rural areas and some kiaws do not understand English doesn't mean the other students do not understand English! I pity all those younger generation - imagine next time when they further their studies in any field.. Ask them in English, they answer you "Minta maaf.. Saya tak know lah.. I.. terlalu diMelayukan semasa di Malaysia.. (Translation: Sorry, I dunno lah.. I am too Malay-fied in Malaysia)" XD.

Trust me - that's Malaysia "BRIGHT" future.

Picture this, all those Mathematics & Science books are penned in English GLOBALLY and we are still like toads and frogs under the well - reverting to a language that only 0.000000000000000001% of the world recognises it? SHIT.Alright, I'm seriously in love with...

Wilber 007

Yea! Wilber Pan! He's so handsome and adorable!

What more to say bout his voice and songs?!!

I AM TOTALLY MAD ABOUT WILBER PAN!! XD

Yea. I still have lots of things to blabber out until as what I've mentioned in my title.. INFINITY. So I am gonna update them bits by bits although I know that as time elapses more things would be happening and I've got to update them. Well, take it as the colourful part of my life then! XD

Have a Nice Day!

P/s: Leon craves going to Rome and Milan this year end for a vacation! Grant my wish!

Comes Another Wave

After the exhausting two weeks marathon of Down Memory Lane, Hari Koperasi & Sports Day, another wave has risen and hit me again! Darn! I got so many things queuing up waiting for me to attend to. They are: Koperasi Meeting Minutes, Koperasi Annual Report, Finance Club Annual Report, English Essay, Mathematics Homework, Additional Mathematics Questions, Biology Assignment, Biology Correction and so much more. I just hope I am in time to cope with them all.

Oh. I know I am late but sorry I really do not have time to upload recent photos coinciding (yea. most of the events really happen simultaneously). I have the Down Memory Lane, Hari Koperasi & Sports Day pics yet every second does not permit me to do that. I am nearly suffocating until I tried to compelled myself to escape from the ailing study atmosphere out to grasp some refreshing air. XD.

By chance I found this snap shot I took from Ohana camp last year. Yea. Suddenly I crave the insouciance once again I savour. It was a really nice experience. At least by looking at the greens, I got to forget some tensions and pressures that shrouders me daily.

I know Sometimes in life, we cannot be running and moving all the time. There are some places and some times, we should slow down our pace and have a look around the panorama that gestures us with great pleasure! Resting enables one to move even further!

Have a nice day people!

Super Duper

It has being a super duper week for me and for most of the Highians. First, we need to rectify our waking hours perhaps from 9 am to 5.30 am! Yea. School reopens. Darn. The school gestures us with the stacks of examination papers flowing back! Argh. So much for an ave.

My results drop a little this time only my chemistry which I dump in so much effort yet I still got a B! What the Heck! Alright. At least still not a C or below. Fine. Pull up my socks next time. I know. And that has being the advice I give to myself as an excuse. Sigh.

Tuesday I sat for my driving law and finally what a 17 year old teen crave item is in my hand! DRIVING LICENSE! Yeap! I pass my driving! Thank God. And if you read the preeciding post, the driving exam coincide with my Koperasi meeting. For Heaven sakes, I got the first slot in which I managed to sit for my driving exam before lunch hour and got to attend my very last ALK Koperasi meeting! Cheers! I am so on cloud nine when things just work out perfectly!

Wednesday was just an ordinary day until yesterday. All of a sudden all Highians, teachers and students were transformed into agitated interior designers - turning every corner of the school into something spacious and beautiful! Yea. Thanks to the fire that razed the school last year, the school board of management has come out with the "Down Memory Lane" master plan to help raise fund for the school. Yea. And students are the victims and the MAIN HUMAN POWER of course. Sigh. I really sympathise those prefects, dashing up and down. They are really brisk workers! XD. Exclude me of course XD.

Financial Club exhibition was artistically and beautifully done! Thanks to all my members! I am really elated at the compliments received from the teachers! Thank you guys! Daniel has being the great leader. Pauline and Cindy have never fail to give me unfailing support. The other members also did fantastically well too! Haha. I am really impressed that you guys can produce something that nice in a jiffy! Thank you!!

Alright. The school's being totally not a school at all for this week, just for the sake of 20 June (tomorrow) event. Wish everything could run well and keep fingers cross that we could raise as much fund as possible to rebuild our school.

Tomorrow I am going to be super duper - Olympiad Math competition at UiTM, Mathematics Department Booth and Financial Club Booth! Super Man much? Whoo! Next week, Koperasi Day + Sports Day!

Darn. I can feel the fatigue ailing me insolently already. Sigh.

Worst Exam Ever

Seriously, exam has just finished today but I have a feeling this time round would be my worst exam ever. Frankly, I do not have sufficient time to prepare. Unlike last time which I had abundant of time to study during the year-end break and Chinese New Year hols here and there. And this time essays come in which I definetly am bad in. I know I need to pull up my socks but no matter how diligent I get, sometimes my brain does not have enough vacant space for all the information!

Mathematics occupies part of it, gossips and personal stuffs. There are indeed so many things need to be stored in the brain! History and Biology those memory-tasking subjects are really collapsing my brain's neurones. I guess they have all overworked! Gosh! WTF! I know I am not a versatile student who is multi-task in so many field! I can tell you frankly I am damn interested only in:

* Mathematics

* Additional Mathematics

* General Science

* Accounting

* Koperasi

* MONEY

I had apathy towards the rest =) thats why I do not focus much and do not excel. You have to vindicate off the blame from me. I guess I was borned to be infatuated with the 6 items above. What can I do about that? Rebel against God's arrangement and try something ridiculous? Nyeh. I AIN'T AETIS! XD. *lame excuse*

Perhaps I'll just wish to blabber out all my unease and irksome feeling that faltered me throughout these 2 weeks. I had nightmares, broken sleep, insufficient rest and lots more. Tomorrow I can't sleep well too, 11pm gonna arrive in Perth! What the! How can I sleep then? Gosh. Guess that's just a sudden adjustment to my life.

Fine, back to packing.. XD Just a HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone of you out there! XD

it's being a year...

Time advances that now it's almost a year grandma left me. Uncle Thong phoned now inquring when is the date according to the Lunar Calender Ah Ma left us. At that instant, the sadness which I made every great painful effort to bury it has suddenly popped out so naturally and I sighed at how relentlessness time elapsed and for almost a year, I had not shouted out loudly Ah Ma. That day in Grandpa's house, I was having lunch in the kitchen when I suddenly reminisced grandma's cooking, her porridge, her dishes and everything she cooked for the entire family! I damn miss her porridge, her fares and everything! My tears were merely falling. Sigh. I guess time passes but I still preferred I got stucked in the time when I spent together with Ah Ma.

Since the departure of hers, I kept on dreaming her. For the first few months, I was so looking forward to everytime I dreamt about her. It is sort of like a psychological comfort for me. At least in my dreams I can spent my time with Ah Ma although it is temporary and virtual. I woke up the very next day with streaming tears. I know I miss her! I miss her a lot! Yet nothing could buy her back to the Earth! I only plead that scientists could come up with a time machine. I wish to travel back to time to meet Ah Ma. Or God, I beg you, please return me my Ah Ma! I know we need her a lot. She's the greatest, not for then and now but she has influenced us for so long.

At an empty aisle,
as i stroll along,
i miss grandma,
i could feel her, i could hear her.
But i just wanna see her
and talk to her non-stop
before finishing off with
I LOVE YOU!
Thanks for everything!

~sigh~

A Battle Within

I know I am clenching on so many things that sometimes I ought to let go. The moment I let go, I need to battle against the dilemma within. I cannot afford to be left behind as each second of life elapses and having insouciance in life is so as equatic as the statement before. I know I want them all but I really have to battle agains the ailing dilemma. The battle within falters me sometime and somehow.

I know the problem originates from me, my attitude and my style and everything about me. However, as people say, environment shapes a man. No doubt that most of my characters are shaped by my surrounding.

I am constantly battling within whenever I see something that will incur me into something I hate dealing with. In fact in life, I need to battle against minute stuffs (I know how minute they are) but still I constantly wish to be a radiant guy. Relentlessness may be the resolution, but what can I do? Consult a psychologist? Nuts! To me, it's a folly act!

I know I want my things abound and the price is that to battle against the troublesome dilemma. To me, radiant is walking away after winning the battle insolently. Think about it, won't it sometimes be a higher price than I would need to pay?

Such as the trade of a true friendship? The exchange for family ties? The lost of forever insouciance and tranquility for the soul and physical? Or even nil towards at the end of the day?

Again, it's a battle within I must WIN. That's the attitude. Winning is everything. That's why. Sigh.

I am freakishly missing all the heat, the waves, the thrills and the insouciance of this place! A place I could find a piece in mind... I just wanna have a weekend at the beach, just myself and a nice book.. away from the bustling and rustling city. Just ONE day please... i plead silently...

You Know What They Say...

I was totally seeing red this morning. Duh. I was so innocent and I got reprimanded for no reason? What the Fuck! So it all started with the volley ball thingy thing. Just FYI, every year my school is chosen for all the volley ball competitions. XD. So the leverage of the volley ball competition, especially the final drew the attention of all students to ditch lessons and happily idling away time, cheering and supporting for their teams.

So I ditched Moral. Just for a while. When I suddenly remembered the teachers from Koperasi were hunting down from me. I quickened my pace and dashed off for the staff room to see all the teachers. Later, Mdm. Ting advised me to give the principal the letter personally.

Following instructions, I headed for the staff room and came to know that the principal was not there and the office boy told me he had marched to the hall few minutes ago! Hecks! I missed Mr. Lim. So I ran to the hall and passed him the letter.

After that, I walked pass the corner where Wei Ling and Tan Yee were on their posts, performing the duty (for prefects.. duh..). Suddenly, that Mdm. Wong, the school Asst. Principal of Students' Affair walked past us. This is the convo that maddened me. Frankly. I still even wish she is here to read my blog!

Mdm. Wong: What are you three doing here? Are you 3 having duties? (3 referred to me, Tan Yee & Wei Ling)

ME: (honestly) No.. I was just passing the letter to Mr. Lim.. Emm. Koperasi's stuff

Mdm. Wong: (rudely and arrogantly) I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU!

WHAT THE FUCK GOSH! How do you calculate? Me, Tan Yee and Wei Ling, exactly three person and the SECOND ago you were mentioning the trio and now you debated that you wasn't talking to me and still in the arrogant, immoral attitude! What kind of attitude do you have?! And you are an Additional Math teacher, simple 3 person you also miscounted it?! What the?! And I do accept the apology if you.. you know say sorry by saying such harsh words on me but you didn't which compel me to blog the dark side of KHS on blog! I was saying in such an honest and polite tone! Nuts!

Hence, you know what they say, a MONSTROUS leader spawns PROBLEMED followers. So next time if you see me behaving not like the behaviour of an ordinary perfect, vindicate off the blames as you yourself do not communicate politely and from now on, you lost your respect from me!

You deserve it! It's better you read it! I'm glad that you would make reflection upon your own mistake. Learn your lesson! No one is perfect, so as YOU!

Updates in a Rush

Perhaps I am either too busy or too free until I do not know what to blog. Seriously.

So I'll just update whatever I recall.

First, I can't think of a perfect title for this post. What the Gosh! After staring at the screen for couple of minutes, I finally have come to a decision to use this title. Brain's cerebrum isn't
functioning so well. XD.

28 March - GERKO day. Financial Club co-hosted an Inter Club Station Games at our school. I haven't get any snap shots yet! XD. Just passed the pendrive to Cheryl today. Hope she managed to give it to me tomorrow. We had great fun that day. I still could reminisce the fun Gilbert had splashing water on people. Hehe. Later, Felicia, Karen, David and I went for a quiz competition in Institut Eksekutif which is located in 3rd floor of Crowne Tower. The quiz was actually held in collaboration with the institute's open day. Hehe. The result was never announced although more than 10 days have elapsed. XD. I am freakishly curious but my result though. XD. *See how bad I did? XD*

Took some pics of the artworks of students from Civil Engineering Department though. Enjoy.

28032009

The gonna-to-be civil engineers building a road model.

28032009_007

A model house which took a group of students months to complete it!

Whoo~ Impress me. I mean their determination =)

Weekdays are just as dull as before though I wont expect unduly funs and thrills. Last weekend we had the Qing Ming Festival. As I am not going to clean the tomb of my both belated grandmas (which is prohibited for first year newbies.. ask the Chinese culture, not me for the reasons), I slept until 9am! Cool! First time. Hehe. It was kinda fun.

Randomly, I am posting the books that I have ordered from Aaron's newly established bookstore, Famous Bookstore.

Pelangi Score A in SPM Mathematics
Pelangi Practice A++ Mathematics F4
Pelangi Practice A++ Mathematics F5
Oxford Fajar Score in SPM Mathematics Model Test Paper 2009/2010
Longman Super Score Prinsip Akaun F4

I am crazy, ain't I? XD. Confession of a shopaholic much? FYI, I shop for reference books =). An akward yet fresh new hobbies XD.

Oh ya before I forget. I donated RM 8.88 (a prosperous number..) to Red Crescent this year for the Flag Day 2009! I am so generous, ain't I? *vain much*. Hehe. I recorded this down because rumoured reach my ear pinnas that our Kuching Chapter RC officers corrupt the money! WTFG! If this year the report comes out and saying that I have accumulated less than the referred amount above, I am so sueing them. Especially that wicked-looking You-Know-Who. I hate her damn c*bai face so much =).

Cool. Quite a long post already. Update next time with more photos, I hope so. Keep fingers cross. Bye XD.

David Archuleta: Barriers

Haha. Felicia introduced to me this lovely singer who has a voice of his own, cute and adorable face, adorned with a gentle sweet and affectionate smile! Yea! He’s the American Idol 2nd runner up! David Archuleta! Haha. I am in serious crash with his songs - Barriers =).

Enjoy the song. XD. I'll upload the song a.s.a.p. XD

BARRIERS

By: David Archuleta

Well I don’t know how to say this right,
And the words got me choking,
I keep hitting this wall,
It’s never gonna fall,
And we’re still broken,
This mountain we’ve been trying to climb,
It’s never ending,
Just can’t do nothing, gotta do something,
Cause if we don’t open up our eyes,
We’re just pretending,

Well there’s a time for giving up,
Didn’t wanna have to say it,
All we’re doing is building walls,
And now there’s too many barriers,

Here we are lying here,
It’s our last final goodnight,
Just because it feels so good,
No use pretending we’re alright,
Too many locks (locks), too many crimes (crimes),
Too many tears (tears), too many lies (lies),
Too many barriers (barriers).
Oh, just too many barriers.

Now we’ve been draggin’ this whole thing out,
But I can’t wait any longer.
Our love’s burnin’ down,
Creepin’ in the doubt, we’re not gettin’ any stronger.
I hear you say that we’re doin’ okay,
But, baby, I don’t think so.
Just can’t do nothin’gotta do somethin’,
‘Cause if I don’t get into my car,
I won’t go very far.
Well, there’s a time for givin’ up.
Didn’t wanna have to say it.
All we’re doin’ is building walls.
Now there’s too many barriers.

Here we are, lyin’ here.
It’s our last final goodnight.
Just because it feels so good,
No use pretending we’re alright.
Too many locks (locks), too many crimes (cries),
Too many tears (tears), too many lies (lies),
Too many barriers (barriers).
Too many barriers.
Just too many barriers

That we keep running into.
Been tryin’, but we just can’t break through.
I know I’m gonna keep wishin’ I was with you,
But we just gotta stop…

Here we are, lyin’ here.
It’s our last final goodnight.
Just because it feels so good,
No use pretending we’re alright.
Too many locks (locks), too many crimes (cries),
Too many tears (tears), too many lies (lies),
Too many lies.
In a hurry to get somewhere,
And the road’s tryin’ to block ya, block ya (too many barriers)
And you feel like you’re nowhere,
‘Cause the world’s tryin’ to stop ya, stop ya (too many barriers)
In a hurry to get somewhere,
And the road’s tryin’ to block ya, block ya (too many barriers)
And you feel like you’re nowhere,
‘Cause the world’s tryin’ to stop ya, stop ya (too many barriers)

Lights Off!

EH_A2_Template_FINAL.indd

This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming.

For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.

This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.

We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.

VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour.

17 Birthday =)

LEON DA FABULOUS TURNS 17 TODAY!

I am really taken down by surprise for time elapses too fast. Another year gone! My sweet 16 is off into thin air and I am officially a 17-year-old teen! Gosh! Anyway yesterday or before I have received texts, aural wishes and comments, wishing me birthday.

It all starts with Siew Kiing. She wishes me first at Friendster, followed by Keren who repeatedly wishing me until I instantly feel like my evil chocoholic sister Keren is wishing allthe previous 15 birthday which she owes me like a debt? XD. Anyway, I think I am compelled to return Keren with a zillion of gratitude! Muah sis! XD.

The wishes come in rolling unduly (I didnt mean to say the wishes are too much, I am simply touched!) I thank Zhann for her prexie, Kiki for her icy cold hand shake (pretty spacious huh?), my koperasi gang, Cindy, Pauline and Daniel's warm affectionate wishes, 5S1 forever friends, Dawson, Tan Yee, Eleen, Sze Tieng, Shirley, Gilbert, Eric, Zong He, Winnie etc.! What is the most touching of today is the birthday song! Gosh! I never expect they'll give me the biggest and most touching gift throughout my whole high school life! Thanks guys! I am totally speechless and I am really clenching my tears today! I am absolutely, positively touched! I am totally speechless and muted! I do not what to say besides a bunch of thanks!

Upon switching my phone, texts keep rolling in unduly. Felicia, Karen, Cheryl, Shirley (my formal teacher from Kapit), Aunty Agnes text me conveying their birthday wishes (if not what else.. duh XD) I am so touched! I am totally exultant at what have occured throughout the day! Only thing I miss the birthday wishes from an old pal of mine - Esther currently residing in Auckland! Hehe. Esther, please take some appropriate reaction upon reading my blog. XD. *vain much*

Oh I cant believe one thing! Mdm. Ting Yee Ung sent her regards too! Muaks Mdm Ting! Haha. She's totally like my mum. You'll know that if you are in my class. So a teacher pet am I. XD. I am really merry today and of course all those abundants of wishes and prexies and most of all the true FRIENDSHIP I'll cherish them forever inside the deep heart core. And this post is to tell everyone around the world that...

YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST FRIENDS I EVER HAD!!!

I LOVE YOU GUYS =)

STAY TOGETHER AND UNITED FOREVER XD

*I am totally contented of what you guys done today!!*

THEY ARE ALL FABULOUS - SO AM I!!!

From Low Efficiency to Lazy

Oh my God! I know I dumped my blog vacant again, especially the gap between the previous 2 posts. It's approaching two weeks and mind I remind you, the longest I had ever extended was 10 days and now I am slagging to 2 weeks = 14 days!

Since last weekend, my health was faltering, thanks to some kind of diseases that infect me but good for me I am now in the pink, sitting healthily before the laptop screen, tapping my fingers around the keyboard, penning this post for my blog. See how good am I? *vain much*

I reminisced I started this blog 2 years ago. That time I was really an active blogger who penned profusely and the updates sometime was an astonishment to myself. I could fill up to 3 posts a day. What the choc. However, as each second of my life elapses, I suddenly treat blog as something trivial and I sometimes think that blogging is something adept, so leave it for the professional. Nyeh =). Blog is simply a wonderful hideout for you to store mementos.

Form 5 life is getting from bad to worse. Every single period you would not feel like missing it as every teacher who creep in *especially into our class* would throw stacks of exercises at us. Starting with BM today, Mdm. Ting compelled us to complete an essay, 35o words or more, in 2 periods! What the choc. I managed to scam through, just scribble bits here and get some ideas where else. Randomly, I finished penning an essay which has not hit the satisfication level for me as I usually write at least 2 1/2 pages, in PBK only, don't miss out the last part. XD.

English Dr. Lau walked in everyday, leaving some footprints behind. Gosh. Vocab assignments and grammar drills. Fortunate or not, you decide. Those pile of assignments will suffocate me to death. She boasted *sorry Dr. Lau, but I am compelled to use that term* that with her teaching, we would not need English tuitions anymore. Seriously, that's true enough. First, you would not have adequate time. Secondly, her teaching is way awesome and sometimes like a lecturer in tertiary education level. That's frank words from me. Dictionary becomes one of our best friend. They never fail at each attempt when you need to unlock the mysterious meaning of every single new vocab. Realise some new terms used in this post, millions of thanks to Dr. Lau although I had lots I had not managed to remember their definition.

Moral - lala. Again, Mdm. Missey is doing all those drills again. Sigh. Moral project - redo!! Why? Burnt in the fire? Seriously not. Mdm. Missey said the format has changed or something like that. As if we have much of a choice other than redo? Shit.

History - haul me straight to my sweet bed. XD. True enough. Revising Form 2 stuffs again and again, that's why Malaysians always like to repeat the similar stuff and old stories and never forward to the future. One thing good Mdm. Lee told us this morning, "We are left with no choice. Borned in Malaysia, study this type of sejarah loh..." I agreed with her, without hesitation =).

See?! With all these distractions and setbacks blocking me from updating my blog, what can I do besides waiting for a free second and I can hurriedly on my laptop and update my blog? Friendster's profile is dead for weeks, approaching months. Duh. I haven't bought any new reference books for this new academic year. Dead. Help me! Schedule some time for me!

GIMME 25 HOURS EACH DAY
*even 25 hours per day ain't adequate for me =p*

Life as a Malaysian teen - cool or uncool? you decide.

Senior year at KHS, last year wearing school uniform but facing a major exam - love it or loathe it? Your decision too.

conclusion: sighs~

Sick in the Midst of CNY

Yea. You wont believe it until I relate this coincidence occuring to you. It's the 13th day of CNY and 13 is the unluckiest number you can ever get in life, I fell sick! Gosh! I was still energetic for the entire morning. After lunch, I felt a little unwell, feeling so chilly and my sixth sense told me my health is appaling. Truly enough - I got HIGH FEVER! Gosh. I slept for hours during the entire afternoon and woke up at about 5. I ate only little during dinner. Haih.

Now, I start to be a little superstitious - 13 is equivalent to bad luck. Gosh. I hope I am recovering pronto. Sheesh. Gonna miss Kelab Kewangan meeting tomorrow. Well, no other alternatives besides staying home to get enough rest.

speedy recovery for me XD

Like a Clown Juggling

New year is creeping and day after day time elapses and 2 more days to New Year's Eve. Gosh. Life keeps going on in a hectic pace. Frankly, I tried very hard to clear off most of my work before Chinese New Year. This year I improve a lot as most of my jobs are done! I feel so proud of myself! XD. I always believe in one saying, "You can't look down on yourself even the entire world looks down on you. If you look down yourself, who will you gain your respect from?". Probably I let my life drift along this quote, circling around that saying, like a locus, that's why it moulds my characteristics to be headstrong. XD.

The entire morning I spent hours and minutes and seconds crapping like an irksome fly. XD. Everyone is in the CNY mood. Just that the atmosphere in Kuching here isn't as good compared to the previous years. Well, again, the grown ups will reason that due to the economy crisis that strikes the entire world. Well, I need to grow up from my own world of just spending money and doing nil. I am putting in much effort to jump out beyond the boundaries and help to reduce my family's expenditure to an extend which is possible for me =).

Went for shopping at tHe Spring just now. Bought sweaters and a book. XD. Flying off this weekend to Shanghai as this year I will not be celebrating CNY. Cos my beloved and late grandmas (both paternal and maternal) passed away. Anyway, I am freakishly emo and damn miss my paternal grandma. It's approaching a year she left me but when I ponder quietly I could still hear her sweet, assuring voice in my head. I know I love her forever - a fact that no one could alter it - never and ever =). Grandma, I LOVE YOU so much that I often mention this in my blog. XD.

Bdw, for the past few nights, I had broken sleep which may lead to the disgusting and monstrous-looking eye bags. Gosh. Wednesday night, I arose to off the air conditional. Thursday night, non-stop irksome nightmares. Gosh. I really did not know how imaginative and creative my grey cells could tickle. XD. But not in this sense - see it really disturbs me and I merely felt asleep every day at school. I felt like drooling away now.

Yea. This post is a random one, like a clown juggling balls, everything just jumble up like a junkyard. Well, probably this is an examination year and less time spent with my blog. What to do?

Koperasi is doing well and prosperous - I LOVE IT! Haha. Koperasi will have more promotion right after the Chinese New Year! Lots of ideas and schedules are popping up from my grey cells and the passion for it is igniting so as the spirit is rekindling. XD. I am really a fabulous fanatic of Koperasi =p.

I haven't got my reference books and work books that I desire. Sigh. That would be categorised under "2009 Post CNY Plans" XD. I spotted few books from the Net that I wanted =).

Ashley's releasing her 2009 studio album soon. Information is still inadequate. I am working hard to catch up the latest information I can - by roaming around the Net every Friday evening - my internet session. XD. And Ashley's starring in a new film which is scheduled to be on the big screen in July 09. XD.

Congrats to Vincent - he got the post of chief editor. Hope he perform his tasks with great responsibility and high efficiency.

Lala. Random much?

Happy Chinese New Year *at first*

Have a fruitful and prosperous Earth Ox year ahead =D

Depressed

Picture 1

Picture 2

Do the 2 pictures above seem familiar to you? Yea. It's absolutely familiar to me. Since 2009, it's just 18 days only for the new year and I usually put on this expression on my face. Hill-high school work, extra co-curricular activities and daily problems oppress me too much!

I feel like bellowing them, "Stop grieving me like hell! I am gonna gone mad if this sustain for a longer time!"

Why does life fill with all kinds of setbacks and stress?

[Question of the day]

Sigh~I just don't wish to sustain the depressed mood for anymore longer.

So as the irksome expression on my face, I don't wish to haul it anymore longer.

::LEON HA::
