Epilogue: 2008 in a Recap

Time advances swiftly and more rapid than what you had in mind. I still could reminisce last year around the same time of the year my ten fingers were tapping the keyboard of my old laptop typing a recap of 2007 and guess what? My unfailing loyal 10 fingers are still busy tapping the keyboard, only that this year it's a brand new laptop.

January

This is the month when I begins my brand new academic year. I am located in 4S1 in which I got to reunite with some good old buddies like Sing Xian, Tan Yee, Eleen, Esther, Shirley, Ling Tchii, Bong Ping, Edmund and also some friends from other classes previously like Sze Tieng, Daniel Sim, Dawson and lots more of fantastic friends. XD. The blend may seem akward at the beginning but as we blend on, nothing is impossible! XD. We receive our diary and it is really splendid. Our creation mah. That's of course we compliment our own hardwork. XD. January is usually month of great expense. I am compelled to withdraw money from my parent's wallet and purse to pay off all those necessary fees. Sigh.

Teachers were as follow:

BM- Mdm. Ting Yee Ung (cute and nice teacher man!!), KOMSAS- Mdm. Molimanisah

BI- Mdm. Helena Susie/ Dr. Lau Bee Yian (the all-time best English teacher! PhD holder man!)

BC- Mdm. Liuk Ing Kiong (can I sensored this name? XD)

MX- Mr. Chua Pheng Khoon aka KHS PKKK (i like the way he teaches Math.. he does it the cute way)

Add MX - Mdm. Ting Tieu Wei (wealthy teacher with the coolest, trendy and latest fashion of all time)

BIO- Mdm. Norol Rasinah (seriously, whole year round I din noe what is she crapping about XD)

CHEM- Mdm. Hu Sing Min (we learnt 'bu yuan' from her XD)

PHY- Mr. Eng Bung Chai aka form teacher (well known with his high-pitch tone)

SEJ- Mdm. Pauline Ng aka KHS Senior Teacher of Humanity Department (aiyo! this one.. Felicia's mum.. always wanna control me de... haha yet a fabulous teacher)

PM & EST- Mdm. Jessica Mandau (oh.. she's so lovely. I manage to play traunt successfully during her lesson *evil grim* thats why she's good XD)

SIVIK- Mr. Samson Jawu/ Mr. Christopher Chai/ Ms. Ivy Ho (gosh. as if Sivik matters a lot to me?)

Sales at koperasi for the first week is fantastic. The figure totals up to at least 4 digits per session. XD. I really wish to see 4 digits of income each day for my koperasi. That's my dream, at least it's like a motivator to push me work more diligent? I guess so. XD. Frankly, first month I am struggling to hunt down for the post I dreamt. Sigh. I guess I am a fool when I reflect upon what I have done earlier on. XD. I desire for Chief Editor, Head Boy, Koperasi Secretary, Financial Club President and that's all. But at least I got 2 granted. Wanna how the story develops after that? Read on my epilogue of the year. XD

This month I move to a new house! Yea. And dad and mum throw 2 house worming parties. First one for instant relatives and another one for all friends and relatives. Cool! I got one brand new big room and a huge mansion *over exaggeration XD* to reside in.

My new postal address: 51, Richmond Hill, Lrg. Stampin Tengah 5, 93350 Kuching, Sarawak. XD. Thanks so much to my parents for buying a whole new house for the family =)

February

Celebrated CNY. Yea. Red packets for me. This month the post for the magazine board is announced. Sadly I am not given the chief editor and my worst nightmare aka nightmare aka low class jerk. You know who he is. XD. got the post. Sigh. And worst of all. I am the right hand man aka the secretary!

Frankly, I am struggling so hard to cooperate with him and accepting the fact at the initial stage. The total month was freaking me out. And I really do not know what to do. But I know, I have bunch of good buddies who continuously provide me with unfailing support until I go through the harsh time. XD.

March

My first exam after I waved PMR goodbye for so long. Yea. It's creeping towards half a year I do not have the anxious and worried feel before and after sitting for examinations. XD. My results are fine but not as excellent as what I have predicted. Probably due to the new format which I aint used to yet. XD. March 25, my birthday. XD. Magazines stuffs are starting to become a burden.

April

My sister bounds for Perth to further her study at Canning College. It is indeed quite sad to see her depart for such a long-distance place and alone at oversea. Yea. She grumbled to my dad verbally on the phone every night, complaining the dullness, her apathy towards Perth as it is a totally boring place to stay in and lala. XD. This month, me, Tan Yee, Eleen and Esther participate in the Eksplorasi Alam Kerjaya (EAK) competition and we are crowned the champion! Cheers for us! XD. We put in so much effort into it which you would understand if you refer back to my previous post. The laziness within compell me not to repeat the same story. XD

May

I loathe this month the most. My most lovable, dearest and the best grandma (of paternal side) left us. Oh my God! My grandma was only 72 then! God! Why did you take her away from me! You know it's really a hunting past for me and I nearly suffocates till death and I am totally struggling in the dark and wading with great difficult in the deep ocean. All of sudden a lovable grandma just left me in such a sudden. I really cannot accept this fact. Grandma, I'll always love you! May 20th - I will always remember this date. Grandma, rest in peace. Sigh.

June

The dullness in the family atmosphere could still be felt. We miss our grandma and everything in life needs a great change. I know I occasionally dream of my grandma and wake up in the morning, realising that my grandma is gone from this world, feeling hopeless and helpless like a baby, I sit on my bed, letting the tears bawl out like a helpless baby. Oh dear. Grandma, why did you leave us so soon? Life's going on as usual.

Our koperasi has also hosted the annual Cooperative Week. This year we manage to scamp through with more fascinating activities like holding every thing "one lamsam" in a day! Cool! Since we are all inexperience with that and we throw in more brand new activities, it turns out to be a challenging task for us but we really learn a lot of things. XD. Yeayea. That's why I love my
koperasi so much =)

July

Yea. I finally grab a chance to get out of Kuching and head to Sibu to represent Kuching division in the EAK competition! Best of all - NO PARENTS! Wa! I am so over the moon. It's really my first chance going outside of Kuching to represent Kuching division (it is indeed an honour). Being together with my team members besides Lawrence, Shau Jiunn, Karen and Teck Ceng is really a fabulous experience. Aww. I want to have a rewind of it although we do not win any prize during that time. The experience, the joyous memories are so hard to be wiped out off my deep heart core. XD.

This month all the clubs are giving out post. Or the so-called post transaction ceremony/ AGM. XD. Financial Club I earn the President. XD. Prefect committee board, I was nominated but eventually I turn the teachers down. Realisng the fact that I could not cope with my academic and I have to contribute other commitments like Koperasi's Secretary, ever-burdening Magazine's Secretary, Financial Club president and also the sophisticated and complicated academic work, I reject the offer for being a Head Boy or even the committee. XD. At least I know am one of the eligible and potential one. XD.

August

Amazing August just flows through the time as rapidly as what I have in mind. Everyday I know I am rushing for the publication of magazines, copping with school work, bonding with friends, seeking ways to boost the Koperasi's sale and profit and lots more. It's crazy but time just elapses without acknowledging you. That's why. Haih =)

September

Koperasi AGM - Tata! I got my secretary post as predicted. Too bad my good-o God Bro Richard has to retire. I miss his guidance and the happy-go-lucky atmosphere he and Elstan have created for our Koperasi. Life's need to go on right? So no choice lah. Facts of life. Next year this time I have to step down too right? The most essential thing is that I have to do my part well and strive my best when I can. XD. Final exam is approaching and I could feel both my feet trembling even more than ever.

October

Gosh! Examinations are harsh - for certain subjects. XD. After that continuing to lend my hands to other departments which have not completed their tasks on time. This is the month Mdm. Loo always explodes and quarrels with the committees. Ish. That's really a painful and sad moments. We bellow at her and she reprimands at us. However, we know that this month signifies the year end holiday is approaching too. Well, just enjoy the remaining days of 2008 =)

November

Yea. We start packing 2009 exercise books - again like an annual routine. The cover for next year is based on the themed colour - blue. Sigh. Disappointing. I expected a red. XD. I hallucinated too much =). Too good to be true if it's red. XD. Yea. And this time round after exam I also got to hang out with friends to watch High School Musical 3 in theatre! Cheers.

We also get to travel to Damai Beach and spend 3 meaningful days there. We all have fun. We share the joy and sombre at there. Joy - for a camp is always fun. Sombre - we throw Esther a farewell function on the 2nd night. I would not deny that I bawl out that night. Esther is heading to Auckland this month so I kinda like lost a good crapping and chit-chatting buddies. Yea. I miss her. Take good care Esther!

December

Watch Twilight with friends. Nice movie. By December, my tuition teacher has covered half the syllabus of Form 5 Add Math. Cool. Just keep my finger cross that I'll remember all the formulae. XD. Celebrated Christmas at Singapore, went for a shopping spree at KL and Singapore from 19 till 27. I manage to purchase goodies like Zara, Fila, Adidas and shop for all the things that I desire. So consider my wish granted. XD.

So the epilogue draws itself near to the ending point. 2008, in my view, starts well but throughout it has really setbacks and I have to encounter along the way. It shall resolute to live-happily-ever-after ending which most people desire. 2009, approaching in less than a day time, I do hope it comes with all the fortunes, love, peace, luck, prosperity, health and all goodies for people from all walks of life at any corner of the earth.

2-0-0-8 : Goodbye and thanks for the lessons you have taught me throughout the years. The fond memories will be sealed in our memories and we will trash the unwanted sad moments. You have been a really a good teacher to me. You really educate me something I never experience before and gain my life's experience.

2-0-0-9 : Every year I do wish the new year will come with all the goodies without boundaries. XD. 2009, I only do wish that I will excel in my SPM and have a better year ahead! And also to the setbacks approaching to us, we'll conquer you all like surfers encoutering the stormy waves.

Bid a sad goodbye to 2008
Smile warmly to welcome 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!!!

Of all the 26 Alphabets

Yes! I am back from holiday but something disastrous occurs! My dad realised that the camera charger just vanished. My mum kept on pushing the blames on me as she claimed that I was the one holding the camera throughout the whole vacation. Yea! I was holding the camera throughout the whole trip but the camera is now back at the drawer - SAFE and SOUND! The chargers then? I left them inside the cargo and they were all sleeping inside it for the entire trip cause I did not take any snap shot! Simple explanation! But yet they were trying to push all the blames on me! Duh! Vindicate off all the blames kay?

And just now I read a few blogs and of all the 26 alphabets we have, most of them are always using 3 spacious one... and they are...

S

P

M

Sheesh! SPM! Yaya! I know! SPM is around the corner and it's gonna be my greatest and last challenge in my secondary school life! I know this public examination determines a lot of stuff namely scholarship, college entership, future jobs etc. I am kinda sick of it and simultaneously I am freakishly nervous about it. I am confident in only few subjects like Malay, English, MATH, ADD MATH (my two fav subjects XD), Chinese and Moral. The remaining Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science and History I am totally speechless when I encounter them.

Yea I know. Few more days left and it's a whole new year for me to kick start off. I need to finish my assignment (few literature questions left) and pack for a whole new year. Well I guess... I am prepared. I do hope so. God bless me please! SPM means a lot to me and with God's unfailing blesses and I also need to dump in extra and extremely effort to pull up my socks in those particular subjects which I am weak in. I know I have apathy towards them. But please.. I beg my ownself, just for the sack of SPM.. learn them well and pass it! After SPM, trash or file them up, it's up to me =)

So far my wish for 2009 are:

- Straight A or even better Straight A1s in SPM

- Health and wealth

- Slim down by 10 kg! XD *in my dreams*

nah. I will post up my 2009 plans pretty soon.. so stay tune XD

The Tapping on an Island

Heh guys! I am so sorry for dumping this blog vacant for so long. Hehe. I bounded off for Kuala Lumpur last Friday and guess what? In a bustling city like KL, I can't even locate an Internet access - I mean complimentary one.. of course =)... So yesterday I've traversed myself to the island of all prosperity located in SE Asia - SINGAPORE!!! Fabulous! The discount offered here are way awesome and I just way can't stop myself buzzling around like an irksome fly to persuade and convince my parents to purchase all the goodies I desire as my Xmas present.

Finally I got to use the complimentary internet access in the Espirit located in City Hall. The shop's closing soon as it's Xmas Eve. Shops end their business today at 8pm! Cool! Thank God that Espirit is extending its shopping hours for shopaholic like me XD. And too good to be true that I joined the Espirit Club last year so that I am entitled to access to the Internet. XD
Less craps this time!

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!

Enjoy your holidays XD

Few Days Left and What to Do?

First I’d like to make that clear that ‘Few Days Left’ as stated in my title of the post does not indicate those superstitious thing you have in mind. It simply signifies the number of holidays left as every morning I wake up, switch on my lappy and see the countdown gadget thinging thing on my desktop, it kinda reminds me how humongous my expenditure on time is. Everyday I set myself free, roaming around the net, playing online games, chatting on the phone, watching TV, hanging out with friends and family etc.

Or in simpler English - nothing productive and useful came out!!!

*I am so gonna be pissed off* XD

Yea. I still have actually so many works & assignments which are chasing after me everyday. Look! I’m listing them now =)

1. Biology Assignment - We all have gathered sufficient information but then filtering them and putting them into the Power Point form is kinda like time consuming. Although it wouldn’t be a setback for me, the laziness within kills off everything. XD

2. English Literature Study - What the Choc! I felt asleep eventually every time I tried to read The Pearl patiently. I only read 2-3 chapters so which means I still have 3 more chapters remaining to read and summarise the whole chapter in not more than 50 words! The teachers are insane and somehow the neurones in the grey cells must have cross over and something unexpected occur that make them a little wacko. =p

3. Additional Math Christmas Special - Yea. Ms. Poh’s holiday gift dedicated to us. Gosh. It’s all about Progression, Differentiation, Integration, Linear Law, Linear Programming, Trigonometry… At least one good thing comes out - I love Additional Math and we do not need to hand in this assignment! Woo! The Best Christmas Academic Present! =)

4. Packing for Friday’s Vacation - Argh. I haven’t packed my luggage yet. Sigh. And I still have lots of shopping undone yet. =P.

5. Tidy up my study hall - Gosh! I knew I tidied it up once in October and another time n November. But those stacks of paper works just grew into the height of a hill. Sigh. It’s gonna be winter cleaning again. Bless me.

6. I dunno. It seems somehow lots of thing are not done yet =)

Tata for now.

Oh. Biology assignment is creeping towards the end. Few more clicks and slides and I shall bellow “Mission Accomplish!” XD.

Happy Holiday & Merry Christmas!

Sarawak Club Samarahan Branch

My parents were absolutely free today, I guess, that's why they decided to drive me all the way from my house to the recently opened Sarawak Club located at Samarahan. Whoo! Imagine how far is that from my house situated in Richmond Hill? XD. Nah. I just enjoyed the view along the journey which reminisced me about how frequent I travelled those countryside road this year.

A bit away from topic, but here's how frequent I am on the countryside road this year:

1. EAK competition at SM Matang Teknik (2 times)

2. EAK competition at SMK Sungai Merah, Sibu which I traversed there on road (once)

3. Civic Educational Trip to Cultural Village (once)

4. Ohana Camp (once)

5. Olympia Math Competition at UiTM Samarahan Division (once)

6. Visit to Swak Club Samarahan (once)

so if you sum up everything and give it a times two, picture that a city student would go to those places so often? XD.

Anyway, pictures are simpler than words. So i took a few snapshots with my brand new phone camera... 3.2 Megapixel, so some of it was kinda blur and I tried to savage it through Photoshop but it wont aid so much after all. Hehe. Enjoy the pic =)

Welcome to the... Main Entrance of Sarawak Club XD

The Golf Course. I guess some parts of it is still under construction =p

The Adult Swimming Pool... I am just curious why the other side is not covered with tiles??

Ya. Sarawak Club first spa.. It was actually quite small XD

I love this water feature located at the main entrance XD

The Terrace - a place for you to have your light fares.. similar to the Main Hall actually XD

Cream of Mushroom Soup

It doesn't taste as scrumptious as expected. The texture was coarse. Well, I just thought that it's only a simple fare, so care not much =p

Yea. My humongous appetite. I took the Green Salad too XD

Another eye-soothing water feature. Haha

Heh. This water feature was nice but kinda makes me ponder about a scene inside a Muslim Building situated next to Swinburne Swak Campus =p.. only it's tinier...

Yea. Last snapshot before returning. You got it. Just another water feature. Haha

Hmm... let me ponder, so this new Sarawak Club has still lots of room for improvement. If you wish me to comment, I guess I'll post up a lot of good and bad one simultaneously. But I just wanna save my time this time. If you wanna know more, why not just go see it yourself? *if you stay in Kuching* XD.

Twilight

Yea. I finally got to be hauled out from the prison of doing assignments and studying and freak out to seek some fun. XD. So after searching and analysing, we finally made up our mind to watch Twilight. It was supposed to be scheduled last week but many things were not confirmed yet, so we are compelled to push it back to today. XD

We invited tonnes but many cant turn up as most of them are caught up in the Christmas Bazaar sales located in Crowne Square. Too bad we miss the fun of hanging out with them or is it too bad they miss the fun of watching this fantastic film? XD.

The movie I gave it 7/10. Majorly due to the girl who protray the role of Bella Swan. Karen, Felicia and I think that she's a little unnatural and when she spoke or conversed, the tone was quite tense and created an uneasy and unnatural feel. XD. The climax part wasn't nice enough or exciting enough. The battle was short. And if you do read the original book by Stephenie Meyer, you'd realised that the director jumbled up lots of things and canceled out many scenes. For example, Bella's mum was supposed to email her.. not talked to her on the phone and Edward's supposed to expose his muscular body in the Italian restaurant in Port Angeles, instead it was switched to the hilltop. XD.

Twilight the Movie

It's really a fascinating movie with heart-capturing story lines. A movie that involves vampires, romance and youths, a perfect and splendid movie for anyone who wish to spend the remaining days of your holidays. XD.

Enjoy Twilight-ing =)

Tears

We’ve had enough and more than adequate,
That tears were meant for the weak,
And ain’t the dish of a hardcore,
For decades and centuries this misleading,
And puzzling rumours passed on,
Hunting the mentality of so many.

Tears belongs to the valor,
Cause only the valor has the courage,
To admit their inner thoughts,
Bawl out their unsatisfied,
Cry out the pains and sufferings,
They encounter along their journey.

Letting the droplets fall,
Something so simple and natural,
The valor let them flow free naturally,
Letting them form a stream downs our cheek,
To signify the end of our pains,
And time to erase the hurting past.

The valor ones know that,
The tears falling down,
Tell them a message that,
After a big bawl,
We learn our wrongs and it’s time,
To make admen towards the wrongs.

The cowardice who do not dare to,
Admit their inner thoughts,
Pretending being valorous so they are,
Contrastingly the internals are all appalling,
And that’s when the pain hauls on,
Until the day which one cannot withstand,
No matter how strong you are.

Shed away the tears,
Admit your mistakes,
Make admen to them,
Walk out of them with styles,
And in the fabulous way.

That’s what tears are –
The end of the haunting past,
The start of something new.

Worst Tragedy Ever in Kuching High!

Believe it or not? Today I was napping sweetly away when I suddenly heard irksome ambulance and fire engines high-pitch sound. I was awakened when my handphone keeps on vibrating continuously. All the messages brought along the same message...

KUCHING HIGH SCHOOL WAS BURNT DOWN!!!

Chaotic situation & scenes during & after the fire

Oh my God! My heart just sank for that instance! All our memories in the junior science labs, chatting while the teachers' teaching and lots more just vanished into thin air, leaving lots of things unsaid. Sigh. It was a huge lost. Junior Science Lab, Library, Staff Room and Administrative Block all went *poof* in just split seconds.

The fire was so hazardous and big. Reasons were still unknown.

Some said:
-due to electricity
-someone by all means put the fire on
-due to scouts activities
-etc.

I really cant believe my eyes when I see all those pictures running in the Internet. My heart really sank! Plus my koperasi stuffs were all inside there and after calculation, our lost hit RM 20,000!!! Help me please!!!

I felt so sorry for Kuching High... a institution that I've been there safely for 4 years and it just turned suddenly into a jeopardy and unforgettable disastrous and monstrous nightmare in all Highians' heart.
